1. What is Hoopify?
Hoopify is an app that connects athletes, coaches, and parents with licensed sport psychologists. We work online, in a subscription model—so that mental development is as regular as physical training.
2. Who is Hoopify for?
For athletes at every level—from juniors to professionals. For coaches, parents, and anyone who wants to better understand emotions in sport.
3. Is Hoopify psychotherapy?
No. Hoopify provides psychological support focused on development, concentration, confidence, and balance in sport. We do not conduct diagnosis or treatment—we work on the athlete’s wellbeing and mindset.
4. What does an online session look like?
A session lasts 45 minutes and takes place as a secure video call in the Hoopify app. It’s held in a private video room, with no recording and no third-party participants.
5. Can I message my psychologist between sessions?
Yes. Every user has access to chat with their psychologist during an active subscription.
6. What if I don’t feel a “chemistry match” with my psychologist?

When scheduling appointments, the system automatically uses the sessions with the shortest expiration date first.
27. Can minors use Hoopify?
Yes, but only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The consent form is included during account registration.
1. Can a teenager use Hoopify?
Yes. Anyone over 13 can use Hoopify, always with parent/guardian consent. The consent form appears in registration and is mandatory before starting work with a psychologist.
2. How does cooperation look when the athlete is under 18?
We organize cooperation in a safe, transparent, trust-based way. Parents and the psychologist jointly set the rules—considering the athlete’s age, maturity, and needs.
Recommended model:
– First session—together: parent(s), young athlete, and psychologist; we set rules, goals, and boundaries,
Following sessions—individual meetings between athlete and psychologist, without parents,
– Once a month—we recommend the last 10–15 minutes of one session be held together (parent(s) + athlete + psychologist) as a short report/summary.
This rhythm combines the athlete’s autonomy with parental engagement and ensures communication transparency.
3. Can parents talk to the psychologist without the child present?
We don’t recommend it in standard situations. We aim for parent–psychologist conversations to happen in the young athlete’s presence—it builds trust and prevents misunderstandings. Exception: crisis/intervention situations where the psychologist must contact the parent urgently for the child’s safety.
4. How do you protect the privacy and boundaries of young users?
All conversations and sessions are confidential—access is limited to the psychologist and athlete. Parents do not have access to the content of talks, notes, or chat history (professional secrecy). Joint check-ins discuss progress, not detailed conversation content.
5. How to prepare a young athlete for the first session?
Talk openly: Hoopify is a safe space to discuss emotions, pressure, motivation, and relationships. It’s developmental support—like training for the mind.
6. What if the child doesn’t want to talk to a psychologist?
No pressure. Give it time and revisit the topic after a few days. Our psychologists build rapport step by step—calmly and without pushiness.
7. Can parents choose the psychologist for the child?
Yes, but we recommend the final choice be accepted by the young athlete—autonomy improves effectiveness.
8. How is minors’ data protected?
Data is protected under GDPR with additional parental consents (“Consent for processing a minor’s data” and “Consent for sensitive data”). After cooperation ends, the child’s and parents’ data are permanently deleted or anonymized.
9. What if a parent wants to end cooperation?
A parent can withdraw consent at any time. The athlete’s account is deactivated and data is deleted according to our security policy.
10. What if the psychologist notices a situation requiring action (e.g., risk to health or life)?
The psychologist must act and contact parents or relevant services—always prioritizing the child’s safety.
11. Why does Hoopify place so much emphasis on trust?
Because working with teenagers requires more than procedures. Trust is the basis for a child to speak about feelings—and for parents to feel confident about safety. Our rules protect the child, support parents, and build respectful cooperation.
Can I use Hoopify on multiple devices?
Yes. The app works on computer, tablet, and smartphone. Your data syncs automatically.
Are sessions recorded?
No. Sessions are not recorded.
Can I ask for a session note?
We don’t keep notes that are shared with users. If appropriate, the psychologist may provide a summary of recommendations (not the conversation content) and stay in touch via in-app chat.
Can I have more than one psychologist?
Not at the same time—one relationship = one psychologist. You can change specialists anytime and continue without losing your package.
What if the psychologist cancels a session?
A new date is set—the session does not expire.
Can I work with a psychologist based outside Poland?
Yes. Hoopify includes psychologists from various countries—you can choose sessions in Polish or English (subject to availability).
Does the subscription renew automatically?
Yes—every 4 weeks, unless you disable renewal. We notify you by email before the period ends.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes. Please contact us at hello@hoopify.co.
What if I forget to pay?
The system sends renewal reminders. If you miss payment, your account is temporarily locked; your calendar and data stay intact until payment is completed.
Can I request a copy of my data?
Yes. Email hello@hoopify.co—under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data.
Does Hoopify use my data for marketing?
Only if you consent (e.g., by joining our newsletter).
What exactly happens after account deletion?
We delete all personal and sensitive data. Only an anonymous technical record remains, confirming that the account was deleted on a given date.
1. How is work with a sport psychologist different from psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy focuses on treating mental and emotional disorders. Sport psychology—and work in Hoopify—focuses on development, self-awareness, concentration, and mental resilience. We don’t “fix”—we strengthen. We help you respond better to stress, emotions, and performance pressure to use your full potential.
2. Does talking to a psychologist mean I have a problem?
No. It’s a sign of maturity and growth. Many athletes and coaches use support proactively—to keep balance, manage emotions, and build calm. As you train your body, you train your mindset in Hoopify.
3. How often should I meet a psychologist?
We recommend regularity—at least two sessions per month. This rhythm keeps continuity and lets you implement new habits. One-off talks help, but process creates change.
4. How long does mental training take?
It depends. For some it’s months; for others a long-term part of preparation. Best results come when work with a psychologist is a natural part of training, not just a “crisis fix.”
5. Should I combine Hoopify with physical or strength training?
Absolutely. It’s most effective when psychology runs alongside technical and physical training—shaping both your body and how you think about training, recovery, competition, and setbacks.
6. Are there self-development tools beyond sessions?
Yes. The app includes exercises, mini-challenges, and video workshops to reinforce habits between sessions.
7. What if I don’t see results after a few sessions?
That’s normal. Change often starts internally before it shows in outcomes. Speak openly about expectations—your psychologist will adjust the direction.
8. How do I measure progress?
Not only by the scoreboard. Look for changes in calm, confidence, focus, relationships with your coach, and responses to pressure. Monthly reflections help track growth.
9. Can I combine Hoopify with a mental coach?
Yes, provided your psychologist and coach align. A sport psychologist safeguards emotional safety; a coach focuses on goals and motivation. Hoopify prioritizes licensed sport psychologists who can bridge both perspectives—discuss it with your psychologist.
10. What if I need therapeutic or psychiatric help?
Your Hoopify psychologist will respond if your needs go beyond sport support and will suggest appropriate next steps—discreetly, with care and confidentiality.
